Vision, Mission, Goals and Objectives

Mission

SMAJ commits itself to:

1.form Ignacian-Marian leaders who are God fearing, and continuously strive for excellence and are witnesses of faith, and service;

2. intensify instruction by pursuing innovative programs and enhance teaching strategies for advancement and stewardship of God’s creation; and

3. enhance educational thrust for the poor through community involvement and scholarship programs.

Goals

The formation of well-rounded and holistic Junior High School, Catholic Ignacian Marian leaders, developing moral excellence, serve God and fellowmen especially the poor and get ready for higher learning challenges. 

Objectives

The St. Mary’s Academy of Jasaan, Inc is a Catholic Marian School administered by the Religious of the Virgin Mary. It provides students:

- curricular and co-curricular Education Program, directed to the holistic growth of learners, integrating all aspects of human knowledge, through the subjects taught and in the light of the Gospel, live the four-pronged integrated teachings and examples of Christ, making Him the model in all their endevours;

- a well-rounded academic training which prepares JHS learners, get ready to face the demands of SHS and identify life’s choices; 

- a guided personality imbued within sound Chirstian values and attitudes necessary for community living;

- an awareness of one’s role as a growing Christian Filipino citizen sensitive to the problems, needs and aspirations of the human community;

- a challenge to love and serve one’s country, help preserve freedom, dignity and rights of learners; and

- a guide to help promote unity among Filipinos in an Ignacian-Marian way.
